Join us for a weekend away for parents and care providers at The Lodge in Deckerville, Mi. Our Speaker will be Maggie Dunn is a Michigan born and bred lover of Jesus, wife, mother and therapist who has been involved in the child welfare system for twenty years. She is wife to her best friend and partner in ministry, Jason Dunn. They have nine children and a heart for advocacy and activism for America’s foster youth. Together, in 2012, they left their careers and founded House of Providence; a therapeutic residential facility for older foster youth who are languishing with little or no prospect for permanency. Maggie’s express aim is to help eradicate the idea of ‘unadoptable’ and ‘aging out’. The Lodge provides a comfortable and scenic getaway in Sanilac County. The retreat is designed for you to find rest and be refreshed.
