As we continue our study of the Pauline epistles, we move on to one of Paul’s most personal letters, 2 Corinthians. Unlike 1 Corinthians which was a polemic correcting aberrant behavior and instruction on several doctrinal issues, 2 Corinthians has a much different tone. 2 Corinthians is filled with encouragement and exhortation to the Church at Corinth. Also, Paul offers explanations and vindications against charges brought against him by false apostles that had invaded their assembly.
