Our Pop Up Shop team, a branch of our Outreach ministry, is in desperate need of extra helping hands and servant hearts to prep and host our monthly shops in Cass Park across from The Masonic. This shop provides our Cass Corridor neighbors with essential clothing items and hygiene kits, as well as a chance to reflect the love of Christ to our community outside the walls of our church.
The shops occur once a month on a Saturday from 9:30am - 12:30pm. Our team also needs help in our church office's storage room to prep for the shop the prior Sunday after church ends. Anyone is welcome and the team leaders will find a role that best suits each volunteer's skill set (organizing, interacting with guests, being a "runner" for items, etc.)
Along with volunteer help to prep and host the shops, we are also asking for help in resupplying our hygiene kits to give away. If you feel the Lord prompting you to help, please view the list and directions below:
Hygiene Kits:
Please place the following items in a one-gallon ziplock bag:
-1 full-sized toothpaste
-1 toothbrush
-1 tan/neutral colored washcloth
-1 full-sized deodorant
-1 full-size bar of soap
*For kits intended for women, please also include 5 individually wrapped sanitary pads.
Hygiene kits can be dropped off at the Connect Table on Sundays.
